I heartily endorse the AI Underwriter's List list "My Favorite Business Mischief Books".
I had read Principles by Ray Dalio when it was first published and we attempted to implement parts of it into my company, Arteric. I always wondered how Ray got it to work without tearing the culture and company apart. "The Fund" provided a satisfyingly confirmatory yet comical perspective on what my leadership team and I experienced with radical transparency and creating an Idea Meritocracy. There were multiple times while listening to the book that I felt sick to my stomach.
I've read about half the list on his personal recommendation and they've been really insightful and educational.
I have left to read on the list: "Bad Blood...", "Losing the Signal...", "The Bond King...", and "Numbers Go Up..".
I will add a little to the conversation with some recommendations of my own.
